在 2010 年，世界博覽會在中國上海舉行。中國上海世界博覽會的吉祥物終于揭曉了。這個吉祥物叫『海寶』，是一個藍色的小孩。『海寶』以中國漢字『人』為出發點，它的樣子跟中國傳統漢字『人』一樣。『海寶』不但反映了上海這座城市的精神，而且告訴我們世界博覽會的核心理念是人，世界博覽會的目標是成為代表任何生活的使者。『海寶』這個吉祥物反映了豐富的中國文化。它表達了中國 2010 年世界博覽會『城市，讓生活更美好』的主題。

　　In 2010, the World Exposition will be hold in Shanghai , China . The mascot of 2010 Shanghai World Exposition has been announced recently. The mascot is a child named 『Haibao』. 『Haibao』 originates from the traditional Chinese character 『people』 and follows the image of it. 『Haibao』 not only reflects the very spirit of Shanghai , but also expresses the core concept of the World Exposition, that is the World Exposition stands for envoy of people and life as well. 『Haibao』 has displayed the abundant Chinese culture. This mascot, at the same time, expresses the theme of Shanghai World Exposition, that is 『 BETTER CITY , BETTER LIFE』.
